Partnership with Georgia Veterans Day Association

Freedom is not free. We want our Korean American students to never forget our history, and we want them to always remember the souls who gave their lives for our freedom.

We want them to be grateful to the United States for the sacrifices they made for South Korea, especially those who served in the Korean War in a faraway country. That's why we are partnering with the Georgia Veterans Day Association to participate and serve at their Veterans Day event. On November 11, 2023, we had a sad experience: Last year's event was specifically in honor of the Korean War, and we had a group of veterans who served. One of the veterans who had previously served in the Air Force, was sleeping in the van with the door wide open. His face was unusually pale, and we thought it was because he was sleeping in the cold, but this great hero unfortunately passed away in his sleep on that day. We all had a moment of silence and prayed for him.
