Plogging

Our students strive to preserve the environment and build positive relationships with the community. With the pollution and climate change we've been experiencing lately, environmental awareness and conservation is a pressing issue that many communities need to address. By working together on projects that preserve and clean up our planet, we can also bridge the gap between different communities and understand each other better.

We work to ensure the health of our members, and we promote “plogging” to do so. Plogging is a recent Swedish term (merging locka upp (pick up) and jogga (jog) in Swedish) that refers to the combined act of jogging and picking up trash. The benefits of plogging can be summarized in three ways.

1. You can promote environmental protection and physical activity at the same time.

2. It is more physically demanding than regular jogging.

3. You can clean up the trash around you and create a cleaner community.
